A formal maori welcome for mickey mouse..

this gobsmacked me and made me cringe, how the fuck does a cartoon character (unless said welcome is also in cartoon) warrant a maori powhiri (sp)?
They were fucking people with big plastic heads on for fucks sake!!!!!
So many people wank on about how different sports teams use the haka and "commercialise" it
I would rather see the local bowling team perform the haka than witness mickey mouse receiving this welcome...damn near made my eyes bleed.
