Tartarus needs work

A lot of work.

I'll start by saying the colour scheme is god awful, and results in posts running together in such a way that it is hard to distinguish one from another, and text does not stand out favourably against the grey-ish background.

Further compounding layout problems is the positioning of display pictures and usernames to the right, which is terribly unintuitive and hurts my head.

This needs to be more user-friendly, is what I'm saying.

None of that bothers me. To begin with, I briefly considered not joining because of the underworld theme (colour excluded), but I got over it.

I tend to look to the left when looking at content, so I like the author-block to be on the right. However, it is generally standard to have the author-block on the left.

I don't like how the links in a post are the same colour as the non-linked text. should be slightly different (lighter)

Maybe an option to have the colour scheme customized ?

And profile information should be on the left. we aren't fucking elevens.

Just a thought ~ a Phpbb3 Style Designer who makes awesome Styles (CyberAlien) has a Free Forums website, and with Phpbb3, you can install several styles and let each Member select which one they want to view the Forums with. URL is http://www.freeforums.org/

Gee Psalter! Why on earth do you only use IE? I have it installed, but only bother to use it if I ever have a problem with displaying a web page, which these days is only at the Microsoft website.

Looks nicer to me.

I use FF for a few particular sites and when I download stuff... but that's it.

IE was so crap on my comp and it was trying to take over FF as a browser even when I set FF as a default browser, so I've uninstalled it and ff is working just fine.

Also there is IE-Tab extension for firefox so meh.
