Though I just invented that statement, in response to ALESHA17's I tell ya what topic, I tend not to find people boring - I just find that some are much less interesting.

Based on your personal experience, how true do you find the statement?

I find other people less interesting, rather than boring and can often see how people would want to be their friend, despite my lack of personal interest.

With regards to the original question, my mother always said 'only the boring get bored'.

I must be very boring as it's a common state for me lately, although that may have something to do with my increasing lack of mobility, no job, etc... in fact, tying back to what I first said, I've found myself puting up with more tedious company.

They are part of the reason why I phrased the statement with 'frequently' rather than generalising.

If one graphed intelligence against frequency and / or degree of feelings of boredom, would there be some type of curve?
