Yes, my intention was specifically fowl, even if the letters were small. I don't even like to eat duck or goose eggs or other bird eggs that many people eat.

But there's nothing wrong with fresh fertile eggs, so long as they haven't had time for the chick to develop, or they have been kept cool, they are pretty much identical from a food perspective.
