The Land of the Zillion Smilies

1. I thought it was a good idea to make a games category at SC, and have the games there. I didn't feel as strongly as some, but I still agreed.
2. I thought some topics were force-moved that were not games, where there was good conversation going back and forth.
3. Admin's justification in leaving topics such as the Zillion was something along the lines of them being conversation topics.
4. Everytime I peek in the Zillion or similar, almost all I see is post after post of a smilie, or many.
5. Grr.

i agree......but seeing as we got the others moved....i haven't got the inclination to go after the others......i remember the battering we got then.

It's bizare, because I wouldn't put __LadyJan__ in the 'moronic, brain dead' basket, but that thread wants to pull her in there.

When the whole "games threads" issue came about, I was pretty vocal about not liking them... but I did say that whatever wasn't a game, no matter how much I didn't like it, needn't be banished (as an opinion, not some holy decree).

So we got to talking about that in the Zillion thread, and LJ got super defensive and somehow took it to mean that I was trying to get rid of her precious baby... before things got deleted, I copied all of my and her posts that related to the topic to demonstrate that I hadn't done anything of the sort. She then went and accused me of editing the posts... I didn't at all... all I did was take out posts that were not from me or her.

She was deliberately obtuse, would not read what I was saying, only what she thought I was saying, and then turned around and accused me of deceit through deceitful means.

Storm in a teacup if you ask me (which you didn't)

LJ has two threads, keeps them in order and generally speaking keeps herself to herself. If you're feeling the need to have a go at her and her threads.....that just smacks of pettiness.
