I am putting together a Family Tree website which is in PHP, and at the moment I am using Joomla with TNG (a separate Genealogy script) as a Wrapper (in an i-frame). However, I am beginning to have doubts about whether or not Joomla is the best choice, and wonder if Wordpress might be a better option. So, my first question is which would you recommend?

Secondly, the website that I have at the moment, using Joomla/TNG, needs something that prevents direct access to the directory that TNG resides in, and all sub-directories, pages, etc. I want to make sure that anyone who finds a specific page on my websit via Google or another Search Engine, is taken to the page wrapped in Joomla, and not to the 'naked' page residing in the TNG directory. Hope that makes sense ~ having difficulty describing it.

This Link will take you to a page as it should be shown.

This link will take you to a page that Google has indexed, and through which most will find the content of my website. However, this does not show the Joomla wrapper.

Your help would be most appreciated!!
