Back from the hospital.

And holy fuck I hurt! Still reeling from the anaesthetic. I had the most lovely nurses, amazingly good doctors, and just all round good service. So, congrats to Waikato.

One whinge... I have never been to hospital and been seen within 1 hour of my appointment... never. Maybe they should just allow for more time?

That'd be too easy though.

Imagine if they were running on time, or, heaven forbid, ahead of schedule and the doctors and nurses had t sit around doing nothing. We'd never hear the end of people whingeing about where their tax dollars are going.

Good to hear things went swimmingly. Time to take it easy for a bit.

So, last night around 3 I started shaking, sweating, retching, then eventually vomiting. This was no good on the balls, especially after the surgeon told me to not to anything "abdominal intensive" for some time.

Off to hospital again. Since then, I have been in A&E for 15 hours(ish) being pumped full of fluids, morphine, potassium, and anti-emetics. Even with the anti-emetics, I retched and hurled bile till 10:30 this morning.

Intestinal obstruction apparently... not pleasant.

Wait...so why were you in hospital?

Having an intermittent testicular torsion (among other things) fixed... ball surgery.

Ugh, that's not good. My daughter had a mild case of IO and it ain't pretty. Take care Psalter.
