honestly what was the marketing department of telecom thinking when they came up with these ads. Now I thought the Zoe Bell ones were bad but the speed boat ad is even worse.... a pix vs a speed boat, who would even think this was a suitable idea for an ad.

You read my mind. I thought the exact same thing the first time I saw the ad... Although, I still watch them because I want to wrap Richard up and have him with chocolate sauce.

What they are spending on those adverts makes me think that they are charging too much for the service.

Those ads must be really, really expensive.

They won't be recouping any losses through me.

That is always how I think though.

On a side note; a few friends and I are starting a movement... we are people that will never sign on with ASB as long as they keep showing those deplorable ads. They are the worst ads that have ever (and perhaps will ever) despoil my TV screen.

I cringe every time I see that stereotype.

Just a note: Richard Hammond is probably filmed in a studio in London, with a green/blue screen behind him.
