Equally, I acknowledge that there is a lot that you and others write on here that is a load of BS, but instead of belittling and insulting, I attempt to point out the errors.
It's a pity people attack that strategy as being incompetent, or having a low intelligence or some other insult they care to administer.

Oh fuck off, like he has ever raised a fucking counterpoint.

NZHerald.co.nz wrote:How Shane Jones spent your money.
What the disgraced former minister spent taxpayers' money on - and what he was doing on the days he watched those movies.

Is the wording of this really bizarre?

I kind of expected a description on his masturbatory technique or something.

I laughed a lot. I was tempted to write "Like a mother fucking swan." but wasn't in the mood to be banned.

I was totally floored by Lynz post... just gobsmacked, I know we see all opinions on SC, but, such ~thinking for a phrase~ I can't come up with anything better than 'annal retention' sorry - just scary, that we have people living amongst us in 2010 with this belief/attitude

Now, I know Lady Jan is not known for her ability in reading comprehension, but what in Lynz's posts is offensive?

I wouldn't say offensive but the bit about being unable to have a child not affecting a persons mental health was a bit rank.

I don't know that it really does... sure, emotional health and security... but mental health?

I 100% agree with him that IVF should not be taxpayer funded.

I would say emotional health and mental health are closely related.
We live in a society where, for the most part, people expect to form a relationship and reproduce. Failure to have children can be a huge issue for some people.

Government policy is definitely weighted towards population increase at the moment. That is a major driver of what is funded and what is not. It's not like you can just rock up and get IVF, the process is quite long.

You need to direct quote and source only if you want. Especially with farmers who loves to censor her threads.
