I have many a question.

So why was she banned?

She posted a picture in a thread of mine that I wish I had never seen.

Though many suspect, and I'm not necessarily one of them, that she did not post it herself.

Well I am starting to think it was not her. The thing is where is she now? Has anyone spoken to her since this event?

I would be possible to copy cookies (one might be able to with JavaScript) and "be" logged in as her.

However, I'm pretty sure that no one would have the motive to go that hard out.

(Why her, why wouldn't someone copy Merak's cookies, or something like that).

Precisely the problem. I'm thinking "hacker" is not the answer to this. I forwarded what you posted in the other thread regarding image plugging, or the general gist of it, onto people in Smile City; though likely they'll continue to harp on about hackers and so forth in ignorance of it.

It also makes me look bad railing against the hacker theory because people get the insinuation that I'm saying Waireka's guilty, which I am not - though it is currently the most likely explanation based on evidence alone. We need a much better theory.

Waireka has a bit of a fan club on SC, I can imagine several people with motive to make her look like an a55, just not sure if they have the know how.

I several times considered deleting the picture from my thread, but decided that I'd leave it there to see how onto that kind of thing the Mods were. Like blueberry, I had no idea that, if Waireka was banned, it would be for a year. I thought maybe 2 days or something.

So picturegate sits on my conscience too.

So... I'm banned until April 6th 2010.

I didn't post the pic.

I'm the only person with access to my computer.

I would never even seek out such a picture online, let alone post it.

I don't drink, so I wasn't drunk and posted something silly.

Gutted as, here goes the addiction to the internet though.

I've also appealed to SC. Sophie said change my email addy too, so I have, no response about removing the ban or reducing it.

I've got no idea how whoever did it, but whoever they are, they're sad and pathetic (much like the people who have tried to call 2 of my previous employers and get me sacked).

If it is a security breach in SC (they wont realise it, 5o1 had to point out he was deleting others posts to them before they realised).

Just make sure you all miss me over there. I'll be around here, just not as much possibly.

All I could see was a big smiley face before then, like a huge one.

It wasn't hosted in my PB account.

YDEKM, sorry it wasn't 100% clear, I wasn't sure WHEN the pic was posted, so didn't know if it had been changed, or a fresh post with the 'bad image' was made.

After reading SC it seems the pic was as I have described above.

No, this is a good thing. If you can find the image you used again, you can prove to Smile City that it was not your doing and rather link tampering by the creator of the picture you used.

I was lovely to Admin, it's not their fault, I would've done the same, she's been very good throughout the process.
